More like "Look out Lynnae, you're going to Haiti in May." I don't know what to expect beyond the statistics. Haiti has the unfortunate stigma of being poorer than many (most? the majority?) African nations. When I googled "typical food Haiti" - to find out how difficult/easy it will be to eat gluten- and dairy-free - there were more links to articles and websites on the food security crisis than there were on Haitian dishes.
I don't know what to expect beyond the statistics.
