Hmm...three gifts silent. Yesterday I spent most of the day on the couch, napping and resting while getting over a cold. I did the same today, so thinking about gifts requires some serious thinking. Yesterday, I was thankful for these silent gifts:
#43: Good health. Even though I'm sick this week, I'm in pretty good shape, and am thankful for it.
#44: A quiet room and house where I can rest.
#45: The new start of an old book: East of Eden by John Steinbeck.
