Cavities!

I went to the dentist today, expecting a regular cleaning, some sealants and a possible cavity (my first). When it got to the sealant and cavity-filling time, the dentist said I had three! Cavities!

I plan on flossing, brushing, and not eating as much sugar from here on out; getting a cavity filled is now one of my least favorite things to do in life. I couldn't feel my face for six hours!

way. to. be.

My illusion of my diligently dentally pristine older sister is now shattered. perhaps with years of counselling i will once again be able to face the every day hardships of life. If post traumatic stress disorder doesnt kill me first.

I definately sympathize with the not feeling your face...it always takes forever my face to numb up, so they always give me twice as much medicine...which means it takes twice as long to wear off in the end... (and by "always," I mean twice in my life, which was enough to traumatize me forever) :-)

I know, right?!

My jaw is still sore from the 2 shots they gave me for my bottom teeth. But I shouldn't be complaining; now my teeth won't rot and I have insurance that pays for most of it!
