my dad helped me to a striking realization today. Granted, this realization is not uncommon and I can't say I haven't had it before, but it was uncommon in how forcefully it struck me this time around.
in a period of 24 hours, between GoogleTalk, Skype, my cell phone, work phone, & email, I communicated with people in Portland, Seattle, the Baltimore/DC metro region, four cities in Michigan, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique & Cambodia. My dad told me I was 'worldwide'; I say that's something of a record and no wonder I'm enjoying this glass of wine so much. :)
